With listening hearts,
humble and open to the Holy Spirit
the Sisters of the Holy Spirit
acknowledge the over-whelming
love of God:
a love that is kind, gentle
and all-embracing;
a love we receive as gift;
and are prompted to give as gift
selfless and total.

 Our charism,
this gift flowing from God's love,
we discern as
the presence and power
of the Holy Spirit in us
guiding, empowering and sustaining us;
for nothing is more sacred,
more compelling or gives us more joy
than the embrace of the Holy Spirit.

As with Mary.
Immaculate Virgin of Nazareth,
the Holy Spirit
forms Jesus in us
to give us a compassionate heart
to pour out our lives for others,
especially the poor,
imitation of the Spirit-filled Jesus
in His mission to the world.

Realizing our own powerlessness
we are nourished by our life of prayer
and we stand in awe
of this charism entrusted to us.
